The highlight of the season on the Miromar Lakes Golf Calendar, The Stampede was established by golf club members in 2012. Open to a field of 60 Member / Member or Member / Immediate Family two person teams, this event celebrates the longstanding friendships established among our members, along with welcoming new members to the event.
36 holes of stroke play over two days, the format is 1 Better Ball of 2 Net at 85% handicap, featuring an Alternate Shot Four Person Stampede with the entire field teeing off on the same hole following Day 1 play.
The fun continues with an Awards Ceremony and Celebration outdoors on the patio at the Golf Club overlooking #18 Green, with an evening of cocktails and heavy hors d'oeuvres. Entertainment provided by The Ben Allen Band, with a rumored special appearance by The Stampede Boys
One of the founding principles of The Stampede is our commitment of continued appreciation to our dedicated Miromar Lakes Golf Club staff.
A very sincere thank you to Golf Professional Daniel Lee and Assistant Professional James Tamasy, along with their inside and outside golf staff. Iin addition to facilitating the golf portion of The Stampede, they provide an enjoyable golf experience every day.
Words can't do justice to describe our appreciation and love towards Gina Pepe's incredible Clubhouse Dining Room team, who are like family to us! In taking care of our every food and beverage need, there are no others as great as Gina and her wonderful staff!!
Through the generosity and goodness of our incredible member participants, a portion of the registration fee is set aside for the staff in the form of a meaningful gratuity.
