Since it's inception in 2012, The Stampede has gained tremendous popularity, fostering extraordinary fellowship among the Golf Club membership. Members partner either with another member or may invite an immediate family member. The field is limited to sixty (60) two-person teams, with a waiting list criterion established in 2023 due to demand.
Past champions are fully exempt, and members who have played in 5 of the 8 Stampede events from 2015 - 2022 receive exemption status for the 2025 Stampede and future Stampedes, as long as they continue to participate without missing two consecutive years going forward. Annual Champions will be added to the exempt list each year.
All registrations must be submitted as two-person teams, consisting of Member/Member or Member/Family Member, using Golf Genius as administered by the Golf Club staff. The staff will also assist any member looking for a playing partner. A lottery will be held for Non-Exempt teams to fill the 60-team field.
Exempt players choosing to play with a non-exempt player will lose exempt status, and their team will be entered in the lottery. Exempt players who have played with a family member in past years may keep their exempt status, if they register with a family member.
Family members are defined as direct relation: either parent, sibling, child or grandchild.
The Golf Genius link must be used to register, no phone entries will be accepted. Players are solely responsible for ensuring and confirming their online entry.
If more than 60 teams register by the deadline, a lottery will be conducted for non-exempt teams. Each member will be allocated one entry into the lottery - Member/Member teams will receive two entries, Member/Family Member teams will receive one entry. Teams not selected will be placed on a waitlist, with waitlist members gaining automatic entry the following year.
